My parents were diplomats so I have lived in numerous countries throughout Africa as well as in the Middle East and Europe, before settling in Cardiff with my Welsh husband. I have a real bug for travelling and have been able to appreciate many different styles and cultures which inspire my work. I love animals and wildlife is so important to me, having had the pleasure to grow up with many unusual pets, including monkeys and a wild boar, and to go on various safaris. I am also passionate about sealife and am a keen scuba diver. It's great that I can combine my love of wildlife and art!
